Bubba-Q's Story
Bubba-Q’s started out in 2004 as a small, family-owned catering business that has now grown to our current BBQ and Steakhouse. We strive for excellence, therefore we select our own meat, make our own sauces, rubs, marinades and side dishes to give you that down-home taste you crave. We pride ourselves on running a family-friendly restaurant, and we do not have deep fat fryers either. Good quality made from scratch food from our prep kitchen to your plate, not from the freezer to the fryer. Our steaks are hand cut, in-house, USDA PRIME grade beef sourced from local midwest farmers and ranchers. Our beef is aged and fresh never frozen to provide you the highest quality.
We are also proud to now offer only Pepsi products as our soft drink choice.
Our award-winning barbeque is done traditional pit style. We went out and traveled the U.S.A on the national BBQ contest circuit and were very successful and perfected our craft. Most of our meats are slow smoked for up to 13 hours with Iowa cherry wood, giving it a taste that people have requested time and time again.
We developed our secret recipes on the contest trail and we have bottled them for sale to be used at home. Now to be clear, this is not some formula developed by someone else and I now have a Bubba-Q's label selling it as "MY" rub and sauce, no friends and neighbors this was developed completely by me, in my kitchen.
Bubba-Q’s is available to meet all of your catering needs. We are able to serve small groups or a company party for a few thousand. You can order or suit your style. Request only meat with our secret recipe sauce, to complete packages including table service, sides, desserts and drinks (non-alcoholic only). Your meal will be set up buffet style by Bubba-Q’s friendly staff or we can serve your guest's buffet style if you so desire.
